Project Info
Brief: Avoid common honey packaging clichés by creating a striking custom glass jar and closure worthy of the world’s most magnificent Manuka honey.
Project Scope: Three Peaks® Manuka Honey is harvested from New Zealand’s volcanic central plateau — a protected wilderness and national treasure. The structural packaging takes inspiration from this dramatic landscape, with a tapered silhouette echoing Mount Tongariro, a revered cultural taonga*.
Project Outcome: The Tongariro Jar® is a refined, iconic design that proudly presents this rare honey, capturing the purity and beauty of its extraordinary origin.
*taonga; (in Maori culture) an object or natural resource which is highly prized.
